Salvation Army Captain, Louise Beamish, is thankful for any help toward the appeal.
"We would like to sincerely and gratefully thank you for all you have done in past appeals," she said.

"We need your help to provide us with enough festive food and Christmas cheer to fill these hampers," she said.
The Salvation Army provide vouchers for fresh meat and vegetables; however have compiled a list of foods they like to include in the hampers.
"We would ask you to donate items such as tinned ham, tinned fruit, tinned vegetables and boxes of breakfast cereal," Mrs Beamish said.
Other items on the list include potato chips, biscuits, jellies, lollies, long life milk, long life custard, ice blocks, Christmas cake, puddings, tinned gravy, coffee, tea, cordial and sugar.
Party items such as serviettes, bon bons, balloons, and decorations are also appreciated.
As part of the Christmas drive the Salvation Army will also be collecting toys, they are to be suitable for children between 1-14 boy, girl or unisex and unwrapped on donation.
