1. Dean Murray- Magpie President
In excess of 300 games for the Magpies (so he says). Premiership player in firsts, reserves and under 18s. Now gets paid appearance money for education department as educator and advisior to indigenous children throughout region.
Passenger- Tanya
Wife of Dean. Great worker and organiser for the Magpies. We know where Dean's strength comes from. Will be the brainstrust behind this teams tactics.
2. Peter Guthrie-
Sports Editor for the Cowra Guardian. One of disticts leading cricketers. Will be the cog in the wheel for this team for sure.
Passenger- Belinda Cleary
Part-time photographer and journalist for the Cowra Guardian. Prolific competitior in fun runs, endurance and physical activities. Recently finished inside top 20,000 in the City to Surf. Reports say police went looking for her with a lantern as concerns were held for her safety.
Finished 150th from 190 competitiors in recent "tough mudder" event. Only in this event for the ride.
3. Steve Watmore-
Former Mapie premiership player, Cowra's only "Millionaire Electrician." Surprise he is a starter in this event. Only reason is that the event is held in Cowra. Was renown for only playing ome games during his football career.
Passenger- Russell Nobes
Former under 18s premiership winning captain. Father of current players Ricky (u18s) and Jack and Toby (premier league). Also Luke who is premier league manager.
Captain and member of Cowra's old boys team and one of Cowra's top lawn bowlers (just ask him). Will be tactician for this team.
4. John Lawrence-
Father of Magpies captain Ronald Lawrence. "Star" of Cowra old boys team, biggest "IGA" owner north of Cowra. Could be surprise packet if he can carry old boys into this event.
Passenger- Erin McGann
Super Secretary of Magpies and great worker for club. Is open to help in tactics for this event. Extensions have been to wheelbarrow to accommodate her "long body."
5. Greg Clements-
Former Magpie premiership captain/coach, unjder 18 premiership coach. Member of Cowra Old Boys team. Will be a big threat if recovered from recent hamstring injury. Great tactician.
Pasenger- Jacquie Dolbel
Cowra Guardian assistant (somewhere in building). Member of Guardian City to Surf team. Cowra Magpies League Tag player. At the moment preparing for annual "Tough Mudder" event and fun runs somewhere in the world.
6. Brett Jeffries- Magpie President
Former Magpie class player. Had short stint with Penrith Panthers, has done outstanding job as Magpie Co-Presidnent keeping Dean in check.
Passenger- Jane
Wife of Brett. Great worker for Magpies and co-organiser of very successful black and white ball. No doubt will be a surprise packet in the race.
7. Wal Tidswell-
Father of Blake in premier league. Great Magpie supporter. All his farmer skills will be to the fore o push "Dub" 50 metres.
Passenger- Dub McDonald
Former premiership and Magpie Player of the Year. Played in excess of 350 games for the Magpies. Life member and former president. Biggest hazard is getting him in and out of the barrow.
8. Brendan Tidswell-
Magpie player for a number of seasons. Played a number of first grade games this season. Champion waterskier. Will have fitness on a number of competitors.
Passenger- Lucy Clements
Daughter of Clemo. Member of Magpie League Tag team. Champion Swimmer. Representative Netball player. Keen to beat Dad home.
