The Blues First Grade side had a well deserved general bye on Saturday.
After a couple of tough weeks on the road a few of the lads were looking forward to the week off.
This weekend sees the Bathurst Bushrangers travel to Mulyan Oval for the final round of footy.
Bathurst have finished 2nd for the 2014 CWAFL season and can't finish any higher as the Orange Tigers secured the Minor Premiership last weekend by defeating Bathurst on their home turf.
So the Blues are unsure what to expect from Bathurst, with nothing to win or gain it will be interesting if they bring across their full strength side or rest some key players.
The Blues will be looking for some momentum heading into next weekend's elimination semi-final vs the Dubbo Demons.
A full strength Dubbo side could push Cowra on their home turf so the Blues need to be prepared fo a physical couple of weeks of footy.
The Blues ressies didn't get the week off as first grade did.
The ressies made the long trek to Mudgee to take on the Black Swans.
With the minimum being 12 players required to not forfeit, the Blues just scrapped in with 12, all be it being a couple of first graders that could of used the week off, but with players making themselves unavailable there was no choice.
The Blues put Mudgee to the sword early dominating the first quarter and never looked back running out convincing 68 point winners.
The ressies next assignment is Bathurst at home this week and then they to take on Dubbo in the elimination final at Mulyan in 2 weeks.
The ressies are a force to be reckoned with if they get a full team on the paddock.
They will know where they are at player number wise come this Saturday.
It is Sponsors and Ladies day this Saturday at Mulyan. It is a day where the Blues show how thankful they are for all the generous sponsorship they receive and also to show the ladies of the Blues that they also are very much appreciated.
All Aussie Hotel regular Thursday night Patrons are welcome to attend.
Their generosity during the Blues Thursday night joker raffle does not go un noticed.
Festivities kick off at about 12.30pm.

In the Blues Juniors ranks the Under 12s and the Under 15s host the CWAFL elimination finals this Sunday at Mulyan Oval.
Both the the 12s and the 15s finished 3rd and both teams are a good chance of advancing to the preliminary final in 2 weeks time.
As the Blues senior ranks diminish, it is the opposite with the juniors who's ranks are swelling.
The action kicks off at 10am this Sunday at Mulyan Oval, so if you have some time come on down and check out the future stars of the Blues.
