Wallabies: Well done boys didn't think we were going to do it after a very messy first half. But we came back firing and went into golden point and after five minutes we scored the winning try. Straight to the grand final training twice this week Thursday and Saturday.
Kangaroos: Solid start from both teams, tries scored by Jay, Josh and a great full field try scored by Ky.
The Roos defence was amazing with the game going into golden point and taking five minutes for someone to score a try.
The wallabies deserve the win to go straight to the grand final.
Bears: We progressed to the finals with a great team effort over the never say die Colts.
The Bears defensive line set the tone for the game placing pressure on the Colts attack Tristian 'train' Anthony carried red and white defenders on his back with his high number of hit ups.
Also well done Jack Gee for your defensive efforts today player of the week was Tristian Anthony.
Colts: Game 14 of the season for the Colts was a semi-final clash with the strong Bears outfit.
After only two wins all season, the Colts were looking for an upset victory.
Sadly for the boys and their supporters, it was not to be.
Keep your heads up boys.
You were always up against it from the outset for reasons out of our control.
All players deserve mention for a great year of efforts.
Tom 'Hayne' Treasure didn't get to score any points this year after he broke his collarbone earlier in the season.
He was making a real fist of his time at fullback before being injured.
Glenn 'Hindmarsh' Saxby had a great second half to the season.
He also missed out on scoring any points this year, but the improvement in his defence and ball control was astonishing to watch.
Max 'Morris' Coady saved it to the last match today to get his first try for the year.
He was strong for us in the backline all season.
Jayden 'Galloway' Bohanna was our pocket rocket centre turned fullback.
Time and time again, he ran around and through opposition teams, as well as tackling bootlaces of far bigger players.
He scored 10 points.
Jacob 'Ranradra' Allan was a late season signing, being relatively new to the sport.
No points for the season tally, however he also displayed promising signs of improvement.
Mitchell 'Samona' Amos has shown good ball skills and kicking ability throughout the year.
His passing game has been a highlight with a great draw and pass effort.
Great to see him running the ball more in the last few games.
No tries this year, but one goal conversion.
Captain Courageous for the Colts this year was Will 'Hayne' Cain.
Small in stature, but big on ticker and a real 'reader' of the game.
He was an inspiration for his team-mates.
28 points scored this year.
Matt 'Widdop' Prescott has been the big improver over the last two seasons.
It has been pleasing to watch him grow into a hard running prop who is now willing to tackle as well.
One try scored this year.
Tom 'Lee' Cummings will never be known as the world's best trainer, however he never let us down at dummy-half.
His darting runs and low tackles made for enjoyable viewing on the sideline.
He scored 10 points.
Trent 'Dugan' Field was our team's top point scorer with 32 points.
With size and speed, he has massive potential if he can remain focused on getting his team out of the red zone and into the opposition half.
Kelsey 'Inglis' Pollard got better as the year went on.
16 points for the season through hard and fast running, often skirting around the outside of the opposition.
Good improvement displayed in his defence also.
Noah 'Hayne' Keen may not have scored any points this year, however he put his hand up, working hard to run and tackle hard.
Bill 'Mannah' Statham had a good first year in the under 12s.
His determined running saw 14 points scored, but it was the improvement in defence and attitude to training that made his coach happy.
A big thank you to Lyndon Amos for co-coaching the Colts this year when I was at away games with my eldest two boys. The boys all appreciate your efforts.
Thanks also to the parents who stepped in to run a line during matches and to all for allowing your child to play this great game.
Good luck to our 'older' under 12s who will now step up to the Group 10 Cowra Representative team next year.
Enjoy your off-season. Keep a football in your hands!
Thanks for a great year Colts.
A reminder to all players to pick up your team photos.
