With the doors opening at 6pm we had more than 300 people in attendance; the hard work of our Esky Ball committee definitely paid off.
People danced the night away to both bands Lawson Shire and under the covers, the food served by Eat you Greens was fantastic and enjoyed by everyone. Buses were on hand to get everyone home safely at the end of the night.
Katrina and Lachlan Noble won the prize for best dressed esky, while David Welsh was awarded best dressed male and Emma Deval best dressed female.
We want to thank everyone who attended the ball, with a special thanks to the following the local businesses who generously supported the event;
Cowra Machinery, Cowra Shire Council, Cowra Tyre & Brake, Diesel Tech, Carruthers Machinery, Elders Rural, Elders Insurance, Moxey Farms, Gooloogong Country Club, Gooloogong Hotel, Vince’s Chinese, Mc Clintocks Forbes, Kevin Miller Whitty Lennon & Co , Mc Clintocks Canowindra, Monuments Vineyard, Jamace Graphic Design, Hair with Style , Forbes Horticultural Society, Taryn's Beauty Therapy, Hozpots Garden Centre, Chris' Bakery , Criterion Hotel Grenfell, Bromar Engineering, Ag N Vet Eugowra and Midpro Engineering.
The night has been a great fundraiser for the Log Cabin, with all proceeds going towards the restorations works and the general running costs of the hall. We hope all those who attended enjoyed themselves and we as a committee hope to see everyone again next year.
