Tracey Rankine and Yin Hourigan are excited to be commencing services at the headspace Cowra office. Both Tracey and Yin have extensive experience working in the headspace Bathurst office which oversees the Cowra service.
The additional staff to the Cowra team will increase substantially the capacity of the service to support more young people from Cowra and surrounding communities.
"We see our satellite office in Cowra as a vital link for young people to access support. Bringing additional experienced clinicians into the community to boost our existing staffing compliment, helps us do that. The fact that Tracey and Yin also work for us in Bathurst means they are experienced in the area of working with young people aged 12-25 years,"said Peter Rohr, Clinical Service Integration Manager for headspace Bathurst.
Liz Reynolds, Youth Care Coordinator at headspace in Cowra, is thrilled to have more staff at the centre.
"The needs and preferences of young people in Cowra are varied, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to now choose from three different psychologists at the Cowra centre, Camille, Tracey and Yin.
"This will certainly help us match up the young person with the most appropriate Psychologist based on their skills as they all bring with them a range of experiences and backgrounds," said Ms Reynolds.
