Last Sunday March 30, Cowra Gun Club hosted a highly successful charity shoot with all proceeds going to Parkinson's NSW to aid further research into this debilitating disease.

Fifty-eight shooters from a wide area of the State enjoyed great competition and magnificent autumn weather and all commented on the friendliness of the day.
The Club is pleased to announce that more than $4000 was raised on the day and will be forwarded to Parkinson's NSW.
David Crane took out the High Gun for the day with a very impressive score of 199/200.
The Double Barrel 50 target event was won by Matt Schiller with a score of 118/118 after a shoot-off with Wendy Barton who finished with117/118.
The 50 target Pointscore was taken out by David Crane with a perfect scoreof 150/150 and he was the only shooter to get the possible. Great shooting.
Local competitor, John Finn shot 181/183 to take second place in AA Grade.
The Club would like to thank all those who gave prizes and also those who donated their money to this worthwhile cause.
The Committee of the Gun Clubworked tirelessly to make this event a success and they should be commended on the fine job.
