Cowra Library will add more than 600 books to its collection when it receives a service allowing members to download titles digitally this month.
Library members will be able to download audio books to their phone, tablet device or laptop when the service becomes available.
"It's amazing. You don't get much for free in Cowra, particularly a digital thing you can access 24/7," she said.
"It's probably better than the Kindles. [Users] don't need to buy a Kindle and just subscribe to their books."
A single audio book can be downloaded multiple times in the new system.
Members can also use an online languages program now available at Cowra Library.
The service, called Transparent Language Online, offers more than 80 languages through self-paced learning programs.
