October's Storytime saw the library transformed into a vibrant spring garden crawling with spiders, caterpillars, lady beetles and bees.
Twenty six children aged from 10 months to 10 years were read stories about creepy-crawlies and crafted insects out of egg cartons and pipe cleaners, before tacking them up on the notice board, where they'll stay all season.
Maryanne Smith from Cowra Library said that the kids had a blast and she was grateful to all the mums that stuck around to help create the creepy-crawlies.
"They certainly got to use their creative skills. Not all the bugs look like they are supposed to, we had some very brightly coloured lady bugs, but they had fun," Ms Smith said.
Storytime runs from 11am every first Thursday of the month at the Cowra Library.
