The 11 willing participants of the PCYC 'Time4Kids' fundraiser were arrested throughout the day with much fanfare from their workplace or school and taken to a makeshift prison cell outside Bushman's Boots and All in Kendal Street.
They could only be released once they had raised enough money to cover their bail - a donation to the PCYC to help support their youth welfare programs.
In conjunction with Youth Week, residents are encouraged to 'Do time for youth crime' and highlight the role of the PCYC in providing fun, safe activities for young people.
This year PCYC Cowra had a fundraising goal of $5000 and were on track to hit their target by lunchtime on Thursday.
