Stingrays in form at rep carnivals

Representative Swimming

The Clayton’s summer hasn’t proved a deterrent to the dedicated Cowra Stringrays swimmers. The majority of swimmers trained through the holidays in preparation for the upcoming District Championships and school carnival circuit.

The club is very proud of State Age Championship Representatives, Ben and Josie Gillham, who competed in the 2012 event at the Sydney Aquatic Centre in Homebush recently. Both young swimmers were fine ambassadors for our club and gained valuable experience, with Josie recording a strong PB in the 12yrs 50m Freestyle in 31.14sec and Ben swimming a solid 34.45sec in the 10yrs 50m Freestyle. Congratulations to Ben and Josie on their efforts!
