Trackside with Cowra Little Athletics

As the deluge of rain poured down over Twigg Oval last Thursday a mixture of sighs of relief and disappointment were heard throughout the town. For those athletes who were looking forward to competing in the hurdles events, and for the saddest one of them all, Bradley, who missed out on his beloved javelin for the second time, cheer up guys, you get to have another go in Week 14, when the weather will be just perfect for an afternoon of competition - hopefully.

Recommencement of the Little Athletic’s season - attempt number 2 - is for the short and middle distance track stars in our club, which may be advantageous to all seeing we now have had seven weeks off from competition and some may be a little less fitter than they think.
