Australia Day - the weather was we and, at times, miserable but it did not deter players arriving from Young, Grenfell, Blayney, Canowindra and Gooloogong to partake in the Mixed Pairs social games organised by the Cowra Men’s Bowling Club.

15 ends were played in slightly damp conditions before lunch which was supplied by the club’s restaurant and was greatly enjoyed by the players. During lunch the skies opened up and it teemed and at 1.30pm when games resumed it was wet weather gear for all.
