Tomato growing by the book

Many gardeners have a secret weapon for growing supersized fruit and vegetables.

For this 600 plus gram tomato, there was no mysterious formula, says grower Anna Kusetac.

This fruit - weighing well over half a kilogram - was the result of a few seeds Anna had bought accompanying a gardening magazine two years prior, and last year realised she had yet to plant them.
