Bureaucrats blamed for delay with Cowra's LEP

Cowra councillors have damned the delay on the Council’s long anticipated draft Local Environmental Plan (LEP), blaming the state’s Department of Primary Industries.

The shire council has not put its draft LEP on public exhibition because it is waiting for approval to have a minimum lot size of 100 hectares.

At January’s council meeting, councillors blamed bureaucrats in the Department of Primary Industries for the long drawn out process.
